Manual ELV deactivation service for supported BMW and MINI CAS3 or CAS3+ systems.
Service scope
Digisoft reviews and modifies compatible original CAS3 or CAS3+ data so the approved vehicle application no longer requires authorization from the electronic steering lock (ELV).
Files and information required
- Original CAS3 / CAS3+ EEPROM file
- Original CAS3 / CAS3+ Flash file
- CAS3 / CAS3+ part number
After the service
After the modified CAS data has been written, the original ELV connector must be unplugged and left disconnected. For a confirmed compatible application, the vehicle is then configured to operate without the ELV.
Important
Compatibility and file integrity are reviewed before the service is accepted. Keep unmodified backups of the original EEPROM and Flash files.
